Learning Journey
Our Philosophy

Small by design. Expansive by intention.

Pacific Heights was founded on a simple conviction: that the most meaningful education happens when a child is truly known. Our teachers don't just deliver a curriculum — they walk alongside each student, shaping a learning path as distinct as the learner.

The result is a community where academic rigor and genuine belonging are not in tension. Students arrive from more than two dozen countries and leave with the confidence, perspective, and scholarship to thrive anywhere in the world.

— 01
The IB Continuum

From the Primary Years Programme through the Diploma, students follow one coherent inquiry-led framework. Our DP graduates enter universities across four continents with confidence and proven academic range.

— 02
A Global Classroom

With families from 25 nationalities, difference is not something we manage — it is how we learn. Cross-cultural fluency is embedded in daily life, from morning meetings to senior seminars and beyond.

— 03
Taught Attentively

An 8:1 student-teacher ratio means feedback is personal, questions are welcomed, and no child moves on until they are ready. Our faculty hold advanced degrees from twelve countries and teach because they love it.

Coastal Acres Pacific Heights
The Campus

A coastal campus built to expand a childhood.

Fifteen acres of oak groves, playing fields, and working gardens stretch to the bluff's edge. Learning spills outdoors — from the tidepool classrooms of our lower school to the observatory that crowns the humanities wing.

Come see the school in session.

Open houses are held the first Saturday of each month, September through April. Private tours available by appointment year-round.
