The Tidewater

Where the fog
lifts last.

A small harbour inn of sixteen rooms — woodsmoke, salt air, and a brass bell that still rings for supper.
The Welcome
Down a lane of leaning pines, the harbour opens and the inn appears — lamplit windows, a porch that holds the last of the light, the low knock of boats against the dock. You arrive to woodsmoke and steeped tea, and the sea does the rest.

A bed for every weather

Sixteen rooms, no two alike — each named for a thing the tide brings in, each with its own way of holding the morning.
A harbour-facing room with morning light
The Harbourmaster
A corner room above the water — twin sash windows, a brass bed, and the dock lights swinging all night. Wake to the bell and the gulls.

The cove and headland under sea fog
The Fog Suite
Top of the house, where the mist sits longest — a reading chair in the dormer, a claw-foot tub, and the whole grey cove laid out below you.

The breakfast table set by the window
The Galley Table
Not a room but a ritual — a long oak table by the kitchen, brown bread and smoked fish at eight, the keeper's own preserves and bottomless tea.
