You're opening Almara Saline on the Sonoma coast in September, and the launch library you have today was shot for a different hotel, in a different light. To sell the feeling of this place — salt air, long tables, low afternoon sun — the imagery has to be made here, on purpose, in one coherent voice.
This proposal covers a two-day production: a creative-directed shoot of the rooms, the restaurant, the spa and the grounds, delivered as a single edited collection of stills and short-form motion. Everything is built to drop straight into the website refresh, the booking funnel, paid social, and the press kit — with usage rights that don't expire the week before peak season.
One treatment runs through every frame: warm, lived-in, unhurried. We shoot mostly in natural light, lean into deep shadow and a single coral-amber warmth, and keep people in the frame doing real things — not posing. Editorial, not catalogue.
A. Light & tone
Natural light first, golden-hour anchored. A warm, slightly faded grade — film-amber highlights, rich near-black shadow — held identically across stills and motion.
B. Framing
Wide establishing frames for spaces; tight, tactile detail for food and finishes. Negative space left deliberately for headlines and the booking overlay.
C. Talent & motion
Two lifestyle talent, styled in-house, moving through real moments — arrival, a long breakfast, a swim at dusk. Motion is observational, handheld, quiet.
D. Consistency
A locked LUT, a shared shot list, and one set of edit rules so the suite hero, the Instagram reel, and the press image all read as one campaign.
The two days are mapped to the light. Day one chases the interiors and food while the property is staged and quiet; day two opens up to the coast, the pool and golden hour, plus the full motion pass.
Everything is delivered in a single private gallery — full-resolution masters, web-optimised crops, and the motion edits in both 16:9 and 9:16. Selects within two weeks of the wrap, the full collection within four.
Worldwide, 12-month license across web, booking platforms, email, organic & paid social, OTAs, and press/PR. Perpetual rights and OOH/billboard usage available as an add-on (see terms). All raw files retained by the studio; final delivered assets are yours to use within license. Photographer credit appreciated where editorial, never required.
Six weeks end to end, built around your September open. We lock creative early so the shoot days are pure execution, not decisions.
Treatment & recce
Lock the deck, the shot list and the styling. Location scout, light-mapping each room by hour, talent & props confirmed.
The two shoot days
On property, fully crewed — photographer, motion op, gaffer, stylist and producer. You get a same-day select preview each evening.
First gallery & review
Graded selects delivered for one round of feedback. We confirm the hero set and the five motion cuts together.
Final collection
Full retouch, motion finishing, web crops and the captioned social edits — delivered to the private gallery, ready for launch.
Pricing is by project collection, not the hour — each is a fixed scope with set deliverable counts and usage. The Long Coast below is the two-day campaign this brief is built around; the single-day options are here if you'd rather phase it.

We're a small, senior studio that shoots hospitality and brand for a living — the people you meet in the recce are the people behind the camera. We shoot stills and motion in the same pass, so your campaign actually looks like one campaign.

A 40% deposit reserves the shoot dates and is non-refundable inside 14 days. The balance is due on delivery of the final gallery.
Weather & reschedule
One free weather reschedule for the outdoor day. We watch the forecast with you and call it 48 hours out — no penalty either way.
Files & license
Final assets are yours under the 12-month license; the studio retains raw files and copyright. Extended & perpetual rights available as add-ons.
