Dear James — it is my genuine pleasure to inform you that, effective April 1, 2026, you are being promoted to Senior Software Engineer at CloudSync Software.

This promotion recognizes the exceptional work you have delivered over the past eighteen months: your leadership on the billing-service migration, the mentorship you have quietly extended to newer engineers, and the calm, thoughtful way you approach problems that stretch well beyond your immediate scope. You have consistently raised the quality bar on the Platform team, and the senior title simply reflects the influence you already have.

Your new compensation will be reflected in the April 15 payroll cycle, and the equity refresh will vest on our standard four-year schedule with a one-year cliff from the effective date. All other benefits — healthcare, 401(k) match, learning stipend, and remote-work allowance — continue unchanged.

Looking ahead, Priya will work with you to define the scope of your new role and the technical initiatives you will own in Q2. We are excited to see what you take on next, and even more excited to have you grow here with us.
