Where Tendril ranks today
The opportunity

Tendril already earns the hard stuff: a product teams love and content that's genuinely useful. But on the searches that matter most, you're stranded on page two — close enough to see the traffic, too far to catch it. The gap between you and page one is mostly technical and structural, and it's closeable.

Put plainly: you're leaving an estimated 17,000+ organic sessions a month on the table — the bottom-of-funnel ones that turn into trials. The rest of this proposal is the plan to take them.

02
How we read your search position
Our SEO thesis

Page-two rankings are rarely a content problem. After auditing your domain, we see a crawl-and-authority ceiling sitting on top of pages that already deserve to rank. Three things are holding the lid down:

A crawl budget you're burning

4,100 thin, parameterized, and paginated URLs are eating crawl that should reach your money pages. Googlebot recrawls your blog every 2 days and your product pages every 19.

Thin internal linking

Your highest-intent comparison pages sit 4+ clicks from the homepage with almost no internal links. They have no equity flowing to them, so they stall at position 11.

A topical-authority gap

You cover features deeply but the surrounding cluster is missing. Google can't tell you're the authority on the category, so it ranks the sites that look like one.

A flat link profile

DR 41 against rivals at 58–64. You're not under-linked everywhere — you're under-linked on the exact pages that need to clear page one.

So we don't start by writing more. We start by clearing the technical ceiling and pointing equity at the pages that already deserve the rank — then we build the cluster and the links around them. Compounding, in that order.

03
The program, in three pillars
What we'll do

Every month of the engagement moves all three pillars forward — they reinforce each other. Technical clears the way, content fills the cluster, authority closes the gap to page one.

PILLAR 01

Technical

Reclaim crawl budget and ship a site Google can read fast. We fix the architecture so the equity you already have lands where it converts.

crawl-budget reclaimindex hygieneinternal-link meshCore Web Vitalsschema markuplog-file analysis
PILLAR 02

Content

Build the topical cluster around your money pages — comparison, alternatives, and use-case content mapped to real search intent, written by SaaS specialists, not generalists.

PILLAR 03

Authority

Earn links to the exact pages that need to clear page one — digital PR, data-led linkable assets, and curated placements on relevant, real-traffic domains. No PBNs, ever.

Where we'll move the needle first
Target keywords & content plan

These are the page-two terms with the most trapped intent — high enough volume to matter, close enough to page one to win in two quarters. We attack these in months 1–4.

Around these, we'll publish a tightly-mapped content plan — every piece earns its place in a cluster, links to a money page, and targets a gap your rivals already rank for.

Comparison & alternatives

8 pieces

"Tendril vs." and "best alternatives" pages — the highest-intent, lowest-coverage gap in your profile right now.

Use-case guides

6 pieces

"How to automate X" guides mapped to your top integrations, each linking up to the relevant product page.

Glossary & category

5 pieces

Definitional content that builds topical authority and feeds AI Overviews — the cheap, durable traffic base.

BoFu page refreshes

5 refreshes

Rewrites of existing product and feature pages that already rank 8–14 and just need on-page + links to clear.

05
The sequence over six months
The roadmap

SEO compounds, so the order matters. We front-load technical and on-page wins that move rankings fastest, then layer content and links so month six is your strongest, not your last.

How you'll always know where it stands
Reporting & measurement

You get a live dashboard, not a monthly PDF you have to chase. Every metric ties back to the month-1 baseline, and we report on revenue-relevant outcomes — rankings, organic sessions, and trials — not vanity counts.

LIVE · 24/7

Looker Studio dashboard

Rankings, traffic, and conversions for your priority terms, refreshed daily from GSC + GA4. Always one link away.

WEEKLY

Async progress note

A short Slack update on what shipped, what moved, and what's next. No meeting required to stay in the loop.

MONTHLY

Strategy call + readout

A 45-minute working session: results vs. baseline, what we learned, and the plan for the next 30 days.

We hold ourselves to a 90-day leading-indicator checkpoint: measurable movement on priority rankings and crawl health by the end of month three, or we sit down and re-cut the plan together — no charge.

The investment
Engagement & pricing

Two parts: a one-time technical audit & foundations that clears the ceiling, and a flat monthly retainer that runs the program. No spend tiers, no per-keyword games — one team, one number, every pillar moving every month.
