Participant Waiver & Release

Sign this release to pick up your bib. By signing you assume the risks of the event and release the organizers from liability.

In consideration for being allowed to take part in the Harbor Lights 10K run and festival (the “Event”) organized by Harbor Lights Events (the “Organizer”), I, the undersigned Participant, acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of risk. I understand that running and attending an outdoor event carry inherent risks — including falls on the course, collisions with other runners or vehicles, traffic, weather and heat, dehydration, overexertion, and cardiac events. I am physically prepared and take part voluntarily.

Release of liability. I release the Organizer, sponsors, volunteers, and the municipality from all claims for injury, loss, or damage arising out of my participation in or attendance at the Event, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Hold harmless. I agree to hold the Organizer harmless from any claim brought by me or on my behalf, and I authorize emergency medical care if I am unable to consent.

Photo & media release. I grant the Organizer permission to use photos, video, and my finish results from the Event in promotional and social media, without compensation.
