Terms of Sale

Sold as-is. The vehicle is sold in its present, used condition “AS IS, WHERE IS,” with all faults and no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS for a particular purpose. The Seller discloses no known material defects; the Buyer has inspected the vehicle, or had the opportunity to do so, and accepts it in its current condition.
Clear ownership. The Seller represents and warrants that they are the lawful owner of the vehicle, that it is free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, and that they have full right and authority to sell and transfer it.
Federal odometer disclosure. The Seller certifies the odometer reads {{ odometer }} miles and that, to the best of their knowledge, it — reflects the ACTUAL MILEAGE exceeds its MECHANICAL LIMITS is NOT actual — DISCREPANCY The Buyer acknowledges receipt of this disclosure (Buyer’s signature below).
Title, transfer & risk of loss. This bill of sale records the sale; it does not by itself transfer legal title. The Seller will deliver the signed title and keys upon payment in full, and legal title transfers when the Buyer completes title and registration with the state motor-vehicle agency (taxes and fees are the Buyer’s responsibility). Ownership and risk of loss pass to the Buyer upon delivery. The Seller should separately file a notice of transfer / release of liability with the state DMV.
Electronic signature & entire agreement. This is the entire agreement between the parties and may be signed electronically and in counterparts, each an original and together one agreement.
