Together, the "Clients."

Background

The Clients are to be married on May 14, 2026 at Linden Hall, and wish to engage the Photographer to document the wedding day and a preceding engagement session. The Photographer is a professional wedding photographer whose distinctive editorial style the Clients have reviewed and selected.

The parties enter into this Agreement to set out the scope of coverage, the deliverables, the fee and its payment schedule, the licence granted in the resulting images, and the rights and obligations of each party. In consideration of the mutual promises below, the parties agree as follows.

Article One — Scope & Deliverables

Photography Coverage
1.1
The Photographer will provide 8 hours of continuous wedding-day coverage on the Wedding Day, beginning with pre-ceremony preparations and continuing through the reception per the timeline agreed under Article 3. A complimentary engagement session of up to 90 minutes is included and will be scheduled at a mutually convenient date no later than 30 days before the Wedding Day.
1.2
Coverage is performed by the lead photographer named above. A second photographer (the "second shooter") is available as an option at an additional $450; if elected, the Clients will confirm in writing no later than 45 days before the Wedding Day, and the resulting frames are delivered within the single combined gallery.
1.3
The artistic and editorial judgement of the Photographer — including selection of locations, poses, lighting, and which frames are delivered — rests solely with the Photographer. The Clients may share a short list of must-have group photographs, which the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to capture.

What You Receive
2.1
The Photographer will deliver the following, hand-edited in the Photographer's signature style. The image count is an estimate made in good faith; the true number depends on the events of the day and is never fewer than 300.

2.2
The wedding gallery is delivered within 8 weeks of the Wedding Day; the engagement gallery within 3 weeks of that session. The Photographer will provide 5–10 preview images within 10 days of the Wedding Day for the Clients' personal sharing.
Format & Files

Images are delivered as finished, edited JPEG files. RAW (unedited) files are not delivered and remain the working materials of the Photographer. Specific editing requests — additional retouching, album design, or printed products — are available as add-ons and quoted separately.

3.1
The total fee for the services described in this Agreement is $2,520, payable in two equal stages as set out below. The fee is fixed and covers all coverage, editing, and the online gallery; it does not include optional add-ons.

3.2
Payment may be made by bank transfer or card. A late final balance entitles the Photographer to withhold gallery delivery until paid. Optional add-ons elected under Article 1 are invoiced separately and are due before the Wedding Day.

Timeline & Day-of Logistics
4.1
The Clients will provide a day-of schedule and venue details no later than 14 days before the Wedding Day. The Photographer will arrive at the agreed start time; the 8-hour coverage window runs continuously from that time.
4.2
Where coverage exceeds six continuous hours, the Clients will provide a seated meal and a brief break for the Photographer (and second shooter, if any). For venues requiring paid parking or admission, the Clients will arrange or reimburse those costs.
4.3
Additional coverage on the day, if available and requested, is billed at $250 per hour or part-hour and is payable within 7 days of the Wedding Day.

Article Five — Rights, Cancellation & Liability

Copyright, Print & Model Release
5.1
The Photographer retains the copyright in all images. Upon receipt of the final balance, the Photographer grants the Clients a personal print release: a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to print, copy, and share the delivered images for personal, non-commercial use, including at any print lab of their choosing.
5.2
The Clients may not sell the images, enter them in competitions, or license them to a third party (including vendors) for commercial use without the Photographer's written permission. The Clients will not alter the images beyond cropping, or apply filters, when sharing them publicly.
5.3
Model release. The Clients grant the Photographer the right to use selected images in the Photographer's portfolio, website, social media, and submissions to publications and blogs. The Clients may request in writing that specific images be withheld from public use, and the Photographer will honour that request.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
6.1
If the Clients cancel, the booking deposit is non-refundable, as it reserves a date the Photographer can no longer offer. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of the Wedding Day, the full fee remains payable.
6.2
The Wedding Day may be rescheduled once at no extra charge, subject to the Photographer's availability, provided the Clients give at least 60 days' notice. The deposit transfers to the new date. If the Photographer is unavailable for the new date, the parties will work in good faith toward a suitable replacement photographer of comparable standard.
7
Failure to Deliver & Limit of Liability
7.1
The Photographer takes all reasonable steps to deliver — duplicate camera bodies, multiple memory cards, and backed-up files. In the unlikely event of total loss of images through equipment failure or other cause beyond the Photographer's control, liability is limited to a full refund of all sums paid, and the parties will have no further claim against one another.
7.2
If the Photographer cannot attend through illness, injury, or genuine emergency, the Photographer will make every effort to send a qualified replacement; failing that, liability is limited to a full refund of sums paid. The Photographer is not liable for missed moments arising from venue restrictions, weather, or the actions of guests or other vendors.

8.1
Notices. Any notice under this Agreement is given in writing by email to the addresses on the title page and is deemed received the next business day.
8.2
Entire agreement. This document is the entire agreement between the parties and replaces any prior discussion. Any change must be in writing and signed by both parties.
8.3
Severability & governing law. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. It may be signed in counterparts, and electronic signatures are binding.
