New York, NY — June 3, 2026 — The Board of Directors of Meridian Industrial Group (NYSE: MIG) today announced the appointment of Catherine Lindqvist as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2026. Lindqvist, who currently serves as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Robert Hahn, who is retiring after 14 years as CEO. Hahn will remain on the Board as Vice Chair through the end of the year to support a smooth transition.
The appointment follows a deliberate, multi-year succession process led by the Board. Lindqvist has spent 19 years at Meridian, holding leadership roles across operations, supply chain, and the company's largest business unit before being named President and Chief Operating Officer in 2023. Under her operational leadership, the company expanded its North American manufacturing capacity and improved on-time delivery to a record 98.4 percent.
The Board expressed confidence that Lindqvist's deep operational knowledge and steady leadership style position the company to continue executing its long-term strategy without disruption. Meridian's strategic priorities, including disciplined capital allocation and continued investment in automation, will remain unchanged under the new leadership.
Lindqvist holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and an MBA, and serves on the board of a national manufacturing trade association. She will be based at the company's headquarters in New York and will report to the Board of Directors.
