For good and valuable consideration, including the photography session itself, the undersigned Subject grants {{ photographer_ref }} of {{ studio_ref }} (the "Photographer") permission to use the photographs and recordings created during the {{ session_desc }} (the "Images") on the terms below. The Subject is an adult signing on their own behalf.
The Subject grants the Photographer the right to reproduce, edit, publish, and display the Images — and the Subject's name, likeness, and voice as they appear in them — for the purposes set out below. The Photographer owns the copyright in the Images.
The Images may be used for the Photographer's professional portfolio, website, printed promotional materials, gallery and exhibition displays, competition entries, and social media marketing. The Photographer will not sell the Images to a third party for that party's separate advertising without the Subject's further written consent.
The Subject releases and discharges the Photographer from any claim relating to the use of the Images as permitted here — including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, or compensation — and waives any right to inspect or approve the finished work or the context in which it appears, except as limited above.
The Subject agrees to hold the Photographer harmless from any liability arising out of the permitted use of the Images, and confirms they are free to grant this release and that doing so does not breach any other agreement.
I have read and understand this entire release. I am at least 18 years old, I am signing it freely and voluntarily, and I grant the permissions above as a complete and binding agreement.
