Why EZdoc and not just ChatGPT or Claude?
Chat assistants give you words in a chat window — you still have to turn them into a document. EZdoc designs the finished artifact: real layout, typography, your brand, math that adds up, exported as a print-ready PDF (or a webpage, animation, or fillable form). Then it does the part no chatbot can: saves it as a reusable template, merges a 1,000-row CSV against it, emails every copy to its recipient, and collects e-signatures with an audit trail.
What file formats do you support?
We support HTML templates and output to PDF. The AI Builder can also create shareable HTML webpages. We accept CSV and XLSX files for your data.
How many documents can I generate?
Our plans are based on Copies generated, not documents. Free accounts get 25 Copies / month (10-Copy trial until email confirmed). Starter: 1,000 Copies, Growth: 5,000 Copies, Scale: 20,000 Copies. Need more? Contact us for Enterprise pricing.
Does editing a document cost credits?
No. Every generated document opens in a visual editor where you can click any element and change it yourself — manual edits are free on every plan, including Free. Asking the AI to make a change (the Ask AI tab) costs 1 credit for the first edit and unlocks 3 free AI edits for the next 5 minutes; after those, or when the window lapses, the next AI edit costs 1 credit again. The paywall is on downloads, not editing.
Is my data secure?
Yes! All uploads are encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with AES-256. You control how long we keep generated files — from 1 hour up to 30 days depending on your plan.
Can I use images in my templates?
Yes! Images embedded in your HTML template will appear in the generated PDFs.
What placeholder syntax do you use?
We use Liquid, the open-source template language created by Shopify: {{ "{{variable_name}}" }}.
How long does processing take?
Small batches (< 100 documents) process in under a minute. Large batches are processed in the background and you'll get an email when done.
What is the AI Builder?
The AI Builder lets you describe what you need and creates it in seconds. It has three modes: finished documents (downloaded as PDF), reusable templates (with data merge placeholders), and shareable webpages (hosted HTML pages like landing pages, portfolios, and event pages). Free users get 3 Designs (AI generations) to try it out.
Can EZdoc make slide decks and presentations?
Yes. EZdoc generates 8 deck types: pitch decks, sales decks, board decks, investor updates, company overviews, product launches, project proposals, and marketing plans. The deck builds slide-by-slide on screen as it generates, and you can export it as an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) file. See real examples in the slides gallery.
Can I make an old PDF editable again?
Yes. Upload the PDF — see the AI PDF editor, or pick Recreate in the Studio — and EZdoc identifies what kind of document it is, then regenerates it as a beautiful, fully editable document true to your original text.
Can I collect form responses and e-signatures?
Yes. EZdoc has 24 fillable form types, and you can convert a finished contract or legal document into a fillable form. Forms are included on every plan — each response you collect counts toward your plan's monthly allowance.
What kinds of webpages can I create?
Landing pages, portfolios, RSVP and event pages, link-in-bio pages, coming-soon pages, and other one-page sites — all from a plain-English prompt. Generate as many as your AI quota allows (free users get 3 to try). When one's ready, hit Publish, pick a slug, and it's live at yourname.ezdoc.site in seconds — no servers, no DNS, no deploy step. Live hosting is included on every paid plan, along with HTML download if you'd rather host it yourself; on Free you can generate and preview as many drafts as your quota allows.
What happens to my hosted webpages if I downgrade or cancel?
Live hosting is included on every paid plan. If you downgrade to Free or cancel, your pages are unpublished automatically and the yourname.ezdoc.site links stop resolving — but nothing is lost. Every webpage stays in your account, and re-publishing (or downloading the HTML) is instant the moment you upgrade again.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
